Excitation Cross Section of the 11/2 Isomeric State of 137Ce Nucleus in (γ, n) Reaction in the 11–18-MeV Energy Interval of Gamma Quanta

Abstract: The isomeric yield ratio and the cross section of 138Ce(γ, n) 137m,gCe reaction in the 11–18-MeV energy interval of γ quanta have been studied on an M-30 microtron using the brehmsstrahlung beam.

Key words: microtron, cerium, isomeric yield ratio, giant dipole resonance.
