Influence of CdSe Nanoparticles on Stability of Polymethine Dyes in Water
Abstract: We present the results of studies of the influence of CdSe nanoparticles on the color stability of polymethine dyes. Two structurally similar dyes with different abilities to form J-aggregates in water were considered. We have observed a significant increase in the color stability of dyes, as a result of the interaction with 1.1-, 1.2-, and 2.3-nm nanoparticles.
