Life Devoted to Science. Ilya Ivanovych Zalyubovs’kyi (15.06.1929?21.02.2013)

Abstract: The ancient Greeks said that the life is not a number of passed years, but what has remained in the memory of descendants. The name of Ilya Ivanovych Zalyubovs’kyi who was the Pro-Rector in science of the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University had been inscribed on the pages of the Ukrainian scientific history already when he was alive. Not an ordinary life has fallen to the lot of the scientist. He knew neither his father nor his mother, being in foster care. His orphaned childhood passed among rural children in the Poltava region. After finishing the secondary school at the village of Butenky, Ilya Ivanovych entered the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of A.M. Gorkii Kharkiv State University. All his further life had been connected only with Kharkiv. ..
